Panorama’s programme on banks last night helped return to the biggest rip-off of the modern era to the minds of millions of Britons.
Banks took £1,000 trillion of taxpayer support – and then rapidly return to what they do best: treating customers with contempt ['the worst US banks are better than the best British banks']; and paying themselves vast bonuses.
