My boyfriend grew up in a very difficult environment where he was abused and ignored. He was never taught the basics and his parents modeled poor work ethics and morals. He made some mistakes in his past and has paid his debt to society. He is a good person and very smart but he doesn’t believe in himself and I am trying to teach him these things, but, I am getting frustrated. I have looked online for seminars or classes, but, have not had any luck. If you know of any resources, please help. He has so much potential and I wish I could get him to believe in himself as much as I believe in him. Thank you for your time.
**Due to the economy, our financial resources are limited, which is why I haven’t pursued counseling or more expensive avenues.
